Culture and Co-curricular Lead (SLT secondment)
Alongside my continued teaching duties, I successfully established and led the Co-Curricular across the school which included broadening the Co-Curricular offering of the school with the introduction of several new initiatives, most notably an overhaul of our student leadership roles, expansion of educational trips and the establishment of the Co-Curricular Fair.
Sept 2021 to Sept 2022 - Supply Teacher for CYPES in collaboration with Haute Vallee
During this time I was contracted to support students who could not access education at school. This involved working with highly vulnerable students with complex and challenging levels of need. I was responsible for liaising with parents, teachers, SENCo, DSL, CYPES, HV SLT, Social Services and other external agencies to provide education for students outside of the school setting. My role also included complex safeguarding, completing Annual School Review Reports linking to RON’s and PEP’s and reporting into regular review/multi agency meetings.
May 2018 to Sept 2019 FNHC Trustee/Committee Member
During this time I acted as a Trustee/Committee Member for Family Nursing and Home Care (FNHC). Responsibilities included; attending board meetings with the main committee to oversee compliance with governing documentation, regulation and legislation; contributing to strategic direction; assistance to ensure suitable management of assets; membership of the Governance and Clinical sub committee, and representing the Committee at charity events in aid of FNHC.
Jan 2007 to August 2012 Senior Manager PWC
Prior to retraining as a Teacher, I worked as a Senior Manager at PwC where as well as having responsibility for a portfolio of client relationships; I also held the post of ‘People Manager’ within my team. This meant I was responsible for managing the recruitment, development and retention of staff, including appraisals; coaching; and training and development.
