For the past 10 years i have had the pleasure of starting up and managing the Acorn Woodshack on behalf of The Jersey Employment Trust, providing both training and work experience to people with a disability or long term health condition, whilst reusing the islands building waste materials in the process.
Learning new skills and adapting to individual client needs has been both challenging and rewarding in equal measure, and as an individual has given me back so much more in return.
