  • Responsible for promoting the extensive work undertaken from across the company to both an internal and external audience. This includes Jersey Airport, Jersey Harbours, Jersey Marinas, Jersey Coastguard and Cruise Jersey.
  • Responsible for internal communications, specifically sourcing and creating content for company intranet.
  • Working closely with teams across the company, including Directors and senior managers, providing guidance and direction on most appropriate methods of marketing and communicating our messages to effectively engage our audiences through the use of marketing and communications strategies.
  • Acting as first point of contact for all local and national media enquiries. This includes the writing and distributing of both proactive and reactive media communications, responding to media enquiries, acting as official spokesperson for both radio and TV audiences, organising and overseeing media briefings and presentations.
  • Sourcing and creating content for social media channels, including all websites.
  • Engaging with external business partners to develop and implement mutual marketing and communication initiatives.
  • Event management of the annual Jersey Boat Show, with specific responsibility for media relations, sponsorship and corporate hospitality.
